We recommend the hollow rope Ø4 mm for mounting small djembes or small drums with a thin or semi-thick natural skin.
It can also be used for braiding tension loops on the metal hoops of large drums, in which case it must be doubled. This type of rope - which is “flat” in shape - is ideal when the hoops are tightly fitted to the djembe or drum shell.
