Djembe shell

The Top djembe drums are selected by Percussion Africaine from the best Guinean and Malian drums. With their original carvings and exceptional finishes, they are ideal for building high-end custom djembes, as are the Premium djembe shells. These shells come with fitted wrought iron hoops. They can be mounted with any type of goat skin or thick natural djembe skin: calf skin, fine cow skin, donkey skin, horse skin, mule skin, deer skin, elk skin... Percussion Africaine also offers a wide choice of colours for the [polyester ropes for djembe->rub315], which will bring an unparalleled aesthetic touch. The Eco and Premium djembe shells come from djembes whose skin has broken during their transport to Europe. They are delivered with their ropes and only require a replacement of the skin. In this case, they can be reassembled directly using the “tipping” technique without having to unbraid the ropes.
